How To Detox Your Body to Lose Weight
This is how to detox or how to cleanse my body after a week of not doing any detoxing.
Detox Tip #1: Start your day with detox water
You would normally want to start with a cup of some detox water.
The first step detox is going to be to drink a detox kick-starter water. This is really amazing and I highly recommend you guys try this out every single morning before eating or drinking anything.
You will need an entire lemon. If the lemon is small use the whole thing. If it’s like one of these big lemons you may want to cut it in half. Basically what you’ll want to do is just squeeze an entire lemon into a glass and then 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. And then fill the rest of the glass up with some water. It’s so great for your digestive system it’s so great just to jump start your body’s metabolism for the day.
You can then get on with the start of your day. Normally I would just go do finish working out. I did a little bit of cardio and then I did some abs break outs, some lunges.
Detox Tip #2: Drink a green smoothie for breakfast
My next step is do a post-workout smoothie.
The ingredients I use are a ripe banana, a lot of coconut water, some pineapple slices, spinach and blueberries. Personally I would like to add about a spoonful of chia seeds and then blend. It tastes great. If you would want to get something to chew on, you can add some cashew nuts or peanuts whilst getting some really healthy fats.
Detox Tip #3: Eat Fruits for a Snack
You would want to eat apple with perhaps cinnamon on top.
- This is high in antioxidants
- Great for skin, heart and stomach
- Aids in weight loss.
Detox Tip #4: Eat As Much Raw Veggies As Possible
My lunch detox meal consists of chopped romaine lettuce, some cherry tomatoes and a bell pepper and on top as my dressing I’m going to have some balsamic vinegar. You may want to add some meatballs for protein.
Detox Tip #5: Drink lots of green tea
- Green tea is high in antioxidants
- Aids in weight loss
- Improves digestion
For dinner you would want to still go with a lot of green raw food as much as possible.
